THE IAN ROWE YORKSHIRE THREE PEAKS CHALLENGE - WE DID IT!
On 14 April 2012, members of staff at Signet Planning took on the ‘Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge’ which entailed a 25 mile circular walk incorporating the three highest peaks in Yorkshire, which are Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough. The Signet Planning team successfully completed the challenge with times ranging from 8 hours 30 minutes to just outside the 12 hour target.
The aim was to raise funds for the PPR Foundation in memory of our colleague, Ian Rowe, who sadly died last April as a result of a brain tumour. The PPR Foundation supports research projects aimed at possible causes, cures treatments or effects of brain tumours and is committed to raise £1million by 2015. We successfully achieved our target and raised more than £5,000 in support of this great cause.
