DERBY COUNTY FOOTBALL CLUB - PRIDE PLAZA

Derby County Football Club wishes to carry out a prestigious development adjacent to Pride Park Stadium to both enhance the location of the stadium within Derby and to provide a new focal point for the Pride Park area. Signet Planning was retained at the outset of the project to advise on planning strategy, the content of the application and the timescale over which success should be achieved to maximise the use of the club's land resources.

OXLEAS NHS FOUNDATION TRUST - BRACTON CENTRE, DARTFORD

Signet Planning was instructed by Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust to submit a full planning application for a new reception building, new security fencing and other associated works at The Bracton Centre, Bracton Lane, Dartford, Kent. The Bracton Centre provides a range of specialist forensic mental health services for people aged 18-65 living within the Boroughs of Bromley, Bexley, Greenwich and Lewisham. The centre offers assessment, treatment and rehabilitation on a 24 hour basis.

To provide the co-ordinated development of 160,000sqm of mixed-use development, consisting of 1,300 new homes, a new retail street anchored by a large store and 30 high street units, affordable workspace, hotel, leisure, community facilities and open spaces including a one acre publicly accessible square, delivered on land known as ‘North West Lands’, Wembley.

RENEWAL - SURREY CANAL

The promotion of the comprehensive regeneration at Surrey Canal, a 30 acre site surrounding Millwall FC’s New Den Stadium, to create a 21st century village within a world class City based around a new regional centre of sporting excellence. Signet Planning was appointed at the outset of the project to advise on planning strategy and particularly how to change Strategic Industrial Land to a large scale residential led mixed use development. The site is now the largest designated Strategic Site in the adopted Lewisham LDF Core Strategy 2011.

The co-ordination of the planning strategy and submission of planning applications to establish a new class leading facility for West Nottinghamshire College, together with a business park on a site at Rushley Farm in Ashfield, and the redevelopment of the college's existing site for housing at Derby Road, Mansfield.
