site at Littleport in Cambridgeshire. Despite significant opposition planning permission was
secured on application.

PERVERIL SECURITIES/SAINSBURY'S - WESTHOUGHTON CRICKET CLUB
Westhoughton Cricket Club wishes to move to new facilities. However, an earlier planning
application for the residential redevelopment of the existing site had failed. Peveril
Securities acquired the site with a view to developing the cricket club site for retail
purposes (a new Sainsbury's) which would fund a new cricket ground in the town.
