Derby County Football Club wishes to carry out a prestigious development adjacent to Pride Park Stadium to both enhance the location of the stadium within Derby and to provide a new focal point for the Pride Park area. PERVERIL SECURITIES/SAINSBURY'S - WESTHOUGHTON CRICKET CLUB

Westhoughton Cricket Club wishes to move to new facilities. However, an earlier planning application for the residential redevelopment of the existing site had failed. Peveril Securities acquired the site with a view to developing the cricket club site for retail purposes (a new Sainsbury's) which would fund a new cricket ground in the town.
