SIMON CHADWICK | MANAGING DIRECTOR
Simon Chadwick is Managing Director of Signet Planning and joined the company in October 2005. He advises a wide range of clients on a national basis on larger developments, ranging from town and city centre regeneration schemes; in and out of centre retail developments; major housing schemes and hotel and tourism projects. Over recent years, he has also advised a number of Premier and other football league clubs concerning football academies and development adjacent to stadia.

A co-founder of the practice, James has a wide range of experience, particularly in relation to residential, commercial and leisure developments, as well as complex mixed-use sustainable urban extensions. Paula Carney has over 17 years planning consultancy experience, working for a wide variety of clients across all business sectors. Paula's particular expertise is the project management of large and complex planning applications and co-ordinating large and varied project teams. In 2005, Paula was highly commended by the Greater London Authority, the RTPI and London First for her work on the “Delivering a New Wembley” project.

Sandra Thompson has worked in both the public and private sector and has extensive contacts in both sectors across the North East Region. As well as expert knowledge in sport and recreational issues, obtained when working at Sport England, she has developed a specialism in residential development with a client base including many volume house builders and also smaller bespoke developers.

JOHN WYATT | ASSOCIATE
John Wyatt provides comprehensive specialist advice on all aspects of planning including regeneration, leisure, residential, business, employment, retail and telecommunications. He has an excellent knowledge of planning law and acute tactical awareness of how best to utilise the planning system in order to achieve clients' objectives. Responsible for servicing the North of England, John manages a wide variety of client land portfolios and is actively involved in site finding and development appraisal exercises for national house builders, leisure operators and other commercial organisations.

PAUL STONE | REGIONAL DIRECTOR
The director heading the Midlands office is Paul Stone Bsc(Hons) DipTP MRTPI. Paul, until recently, was Head of Land and Property at a local authority in the Midlands and has brought his significant experience of the planning system and detailed knowledge of the region to Signet Planning. Paul is supported by a team with specialist experience and knowledge of matters such as housing, retail impact, education and environmental impact assessments.
